Levaquin is used for treating bacterial infections. It is also given to people for preventing and slowing down the affect of anthrax after its exposure.
When Levaquin is used, one should have to drink a lot of fluids. Always follow the doctor’s prescription and do not deviate from it. Always maintain to take the right doses at the right time. In case you forget to take a dose, you can have it when you remember it. Well, it should also be followed that the drug is not stopped in the middle of a dosage or it is not taken in larger amounts or used for longer periods. If these happen, there is a possibility that the infections can come back.
Before the doctor scribbles Levaquin, you should have to inform him about all your present and past health problems. You should also tell him if you have any allergies to any particular medicine, food or any substance.
